Introduction

Marc has more than 30 years of experience, mainly in sales and general management positions.

 

In his last function Marc was Regional General Manager of Stanley Security and responsible for the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. In this complex region he implemented organizational improvements that led to a growing and profitable region. Marc also led Otis Netherlands as Managing Director. Interim Management

My entire career consists of a succession of “interim” jobs.

Especially in the last 20 years in which I worked as Managing Director for Securitas and the strongly quarterly driven and listed Stanley Security and Otis, the work and tasks consisted largely of projects.

Of course, there was always a red thread and a somewhat leading long-term strategy but listed companies are often characterized by short-term projects with a clear focus on improving performance and operating results.

Coaching & Development

The main basis for my success over the last 20 years has been in creating effective Management Teams.

My approach is based on strengthening the connections between team members to create a strong foundation of understanding and trust.

 

In addition, I have always been committed to improving the personal skills of my team members. With really only 1 objective: to make sure that my input becomes superfluous.

 

As a graduated Chemical Engineer, during my career I have formed myself in the field of connections between people whereby my role as General Manager has mainly focused on the function of catalyst – improving processes and mutual cooperation.
